Register to vote by Oct. 4; absentee ballots available

If you’re unsure whether you’re registered to vote in the Nov. 2 gubernatorial election, it’s a good time to check with your township or county clerk. The deadline to register to vote in November is Oct. 4.

And, registered voters who meet certain criteria can request an absentee ballot now.
