GOTV walk to follow for Congressman John Dingell (15th Congressional), Rep. Kate Ebli (56th State House) and Mike Smith (55th State House)

Speakers to include Congressman Dingell, Rep. Ebli, Mr. Smith, AFL-CIO President Mark Gaffney and MEA Vice President Steve Cook.

VOLUNTEER this weekend -- make a DIFFERENCE

Time is running out in this election -- your help can mean the difference between victory and defeat on Nov. 2 for friends of public education. Take time this weekend and throughout the next 11 days to volunteer to help with phone banks, door-to-door candidate walks and other campaign activities.

Enough is Enough GOTV Walks this Saturday!

To win this fall, it will be critical to Get Out The Vote with our members and the public. That’s why MEA is working with campaigns across the state to set up Enough is Enough GOTV Walks on the three Saturday’s leading up to Election Day. The first of those walk days is this Saturday, Oct. 16.

Help Get Out the Vote at Monday's Flint rally

Join educators and community members, NEA Vice President Lily Eskelsen, and several political candidates at a Get Out the Vote Rally on Monday afternoon in Flint.

Come out to hear about the important role education plays in this critical election. The rally will be held at the Genesee County MEA UniServ Office, 5095 Exchange Dr. in Flint beginning at 5 p.m. (map)
